Aveleda’s House in Braga, Designed by Manuel Ribeiro

Aveleda’s House is a villa in the Braga has been designed by Manuel Ribeiro, to accommodate the inner experience of light as a source of housing. This project was inspired by the old Roman concept of “Bracara Augustae”, where the ancient Roman house, Domus, built around an internal plaza. Therefore all the subtlety of the house is achieved by careful distribution. On the other hand, this villa provides all the six senses of life. The house is located at the same altitude of the square, with the assumption that the Hall sloping land is higher, relative to the social and saw all of this creates, the social area involving open space, living and dining room with no door to the kitchen, and room service disguised in the bath.
