Beach House Design by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects
This house was designed by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects on Vashon Island, Washington, USA. This idea is to insert a wooden box on the floor and seated on the wall of the basement so it does not affect the existing field lines. Wooden box contains the master bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. On the north side of the cabin there is a fireplace and stone walls, is the only preserved element on the floor of the existing cabin. Large sliding doors open onto a wooden deck to be rebuilt to the west and allow easy movement of the interior for entertaining.
