House Design in Missoula by Heliotrope Architects
This residence was designed by Heliotrope Architects in the 20-acre wooded property in the foothills of Missoula. The style of this house is a vernacular building land remain as a point of departure architecture for new dwellings. Main material use natural product likes s concrete masonry walls, re-claimed timber frame construction, and a pair of 60-foot long glu-lam trusses to support the roof above the studio. The roof is copper and the exterior cladding is cedar. Interior finishes include fir cabinets and paneling, site-claimed stone hearths, re-claimed brick tiles and custom forged iron railings.
