Volente Lake House by Bercy Chen Studio LP
Volente lake house was designed by Bercy Chen Studio LP to minimize disruption to the temporary site and maximize the use of recycled materials. This is a steel and glass house that is connected with views of Lake Travis. The project required high expertise and keep maneuvering the steel contractor 50 ‘beam among mature oak trees on the site. Volume cantilevering from the drawing-room to the lake which was held on a single concrete support to pay tribute to Lautner’s Chemosphere House in LA.
